it appears to work to a certain degree, i got to the bit where it was saying the certificate wasnt verified or whatever continued past that bit and when i got the choice to sync with email, contacts and calander i jsut selected mail and click on finish and got

Does it require a wipe or just a straight flash?
Check the last few pages of the thread on XDA, not sure. It says it's a full ROM, so you might need a wipe.
Are you doing this on a contract phone or your own?

Issues with returning "doctored" contract phones for repair.
You can get it reset back to how it should be via methods on XDA and Modaco. So you should be able to get around that if you need to return it. Apparently most places don't even check.

I like that it synchs with GMail by itself but it annoys me that the caller ID pic shows up in really poor quality on the phone because Google wont up their image size from 96x96
Lmao always chasing faster and better as I do with pc rigs and gaming hardware, although I've curbed that now I get my kicks from rom flashing......

Ah, I've linked most of the contacts with facebook so it uses those pictures, otherwise I have the odd few contacts which are simply blank.

Nope, just that one will definately come, hopefully sooner rather than later
Just tried the new Froyo, I still wouldn't bother with it yet unless you badly want to try it.
I dont think we'll see great leaps forward until Google drop the source code for it (which could be any day now, hopefully).
