Yeah I ignored that certificate error too, let me set mine up on our exchange and see what happens

DeFroST 0.6 is out, kernel fixes and various other things, apparently it's faster and more stable. You also get the options for audiomods and undervolting etc by flashing new updates on (theres several).

Will try it shortly.

Are you doing this on a contract phone or your own?

Argh, now I'm going to have to reflash another rom, I hate you!

Issues with returning "doctored" contract phones for repair.

You can get it reset back to how it should be via methods on XDA and Modaco. So you should be able to get around that if you need to return it. Apparently most places don't even check.

It's a risk you've got to accept doing things like this, as with anything :p

I didn't really consider the Gmail option, I'll check it out, thanks. :D

I like that it synchs with GMail by itself but it annoys me that the caller ID pic shows up in really poor quality on the phone because Google wont up their image size from 96x96 :(

Let us know how you get on, out for a beer straight after work tonight but may have a bash while the wife is out tomorrow night......lol

Not sure either here Jono8, I was assuming end of June, but that was from an unreliable source.

Ah, I've linked most of the contacts with facebook so it uses those pictures, otherwise I have the odd few contacts which are simply blank.

So do we still not know when Froyo gets an official release on the HTC Desire?

Nope, just that one will definately come, hopefully sooner rather than later :p

Just tried the new Froyo, I still wouldn't bother with it yet unless you badly want to try it.

I dont think we'll see great leaps forward until Google drop the source code for it (which could be any day now, hopefully).

Back to 2.1 :p

So do no phones officially have 1.2 yet? As i understand it, google have only just distributed to OEM'S and devs in the past week or so.
