I metal polished the bezel and super resin polished the back of mine. If they take even 5% off I'll hit the roof, it's a replacement less than two weeks old. I took pictures and everything :/

They knock 10% off if there's no charge in it when it arrives! Absurd.
 
I sent in my 3g which was 15 months old and in mint condition, some light scratches on the back but the screen was fine and they gave me full whack. I'd be suprised if they took 5% off yours unless its got screen scratches.
 
It's as new. Just been running around like a maniac trying to find the 'proper' iPhone charger. I found three USB ones and a Firewire one, all the chunky ones, then I finally found it plugged into a wall socket that I have no idea why I would have ever plugged it in there :D

iPhone bit of O2's site is down. Hmm.
 
I just hope this doesn't turn out to be a launch that mirrored the 3G launch in 2008. Getting hold of one back then was so bad that the o2 stores round here were actually hoarding small stocks of the unit. I had to phone up o2 CS and call their bluff saying I was leaving just to get one!

In the case of the iPhone 4 it seems even 3Gs owners want one as well as out of contract 3G owners.
 
hey guys now i am buying iphone 4 and i will just pay 15 pounds and they will unlock it to any mobile operator? can someone give me instructions?

I dont think it will either. On 3G release I missed out on the o2 store as they only had about 15 phones. Went to the Apple store in the evening (Lakeside) and they apparantly had hundreds still.

If anything the Apple Store will have shedloads, people shouldn't worry too much, :)

(im still pre-ordering though!!!)

What company are we talking about here? I was looking to trade my 3G 16GB in with Envirofone for £190, but if they knock money off i'd be friggin livid!
 
If I sell my current 4 month old 3GS to a friend and take up o2s early upgrade offer on june 24th so I buy out my contract n start another one. The 3GS is still going to be under its 1 year warrenty isnt it? It'll be with apple but if who I sell it to has problems with it. I could take it back into Apple for him?
