Need better barcode to scan of those norks - STAT!

Backup apps... MyBackup Pro will abckup settings and data while rooted you get app settings data too.

That didn't work either. With the new sim in, the number was listed as 0. With my sim back in it's still showing up as the old number.

It did reset all the settings for the home screens though. :rolleyes::p
 
OK, possible noob question but I've only had this phone 24 hours :p

I'm using Launcher Pro - is there anyway to have unread notification numbers on the dock icons for gmail and sms?
 
w00t Desire arrived :D.

So what must have bits and pieces should I start with? Anything better than the HTC keyboard (can I try the default android keyboard?) I find it a bit awkward compared to my old Omnia keyboard.

EDIT: Also whats the best desktop charger/stand? Worth getting one with a second battery?

Just got off the phone to 3 again. As i'm a premium customer ( of 4 years) they were trying to do me some deals on this as they owe me money and were being kind to me...but the only 18 month contract they would offer me with the desire was 300 mins, unlimited net/text/voicemail yadada for £35 a month on 18 month.

Does anyone else feel 24 months is to long to have a contract for and could anyone advise me on any decent Desire 18 month contracts?

buy one from ebay, and go sim only.

Unless you root it you're stuck with the htc k/b (it's better than the default android one anyway), you can however pay for apps to change the keyboard, e.g. Smart Keyboard.

Wrong. You can install the htc_ime keyboard without rooting. It's easily one of the best if not the best. You can fully customize it to look how u like. Check the xda thread on it..

I assumed he's talking about the HTC sense keyboard, which the IME mod is a version of, if he doesn't like the Sense keyboard he's not going to be happy with just skinning it.
 
Anyone having trouble with the Google Mail App. When I try to send an email, it sits there with Sending... written in red but never actually sends it. I have to delete the message in order for it to go.
