As far as i know iPhone 4 PAYG won't be available at launch.

I really dont understand all this pre-ordering 
I went into my local 02 shop and they said to me that they have not and will not be taking any pre-orders and that its just a matter of showing on the day to get one. But they are only going to be selling them to 02 exisiting customers only.
Meh I dont mind ima take a nice early stroll up there for 8:00 in the morning when they open and go from there. I want the 32gb model which I am hoping most people will not be getting

Pre-ordering I believe is with Apple themselves. If you go to an O2 store they will be selling the contract iPhone4's on a first come first serve basis with preference given to existing customers I believe.

It's still at "Not Yet Shipped" on all of ours - it only says "Preparing to Ship" on the US site
Yeah it's the same for me, prepared to ship on the us site and unchanged on the UK one!, just hope it comes on the 24th!

A couple of my friends have had this happen.
Not got a call myself yet though, despite me being an iphone customer with 2 contracts since the 2G first came out.
'Preparing to ship' does this mean they'll go out to depots tonight for delivery tomorrow? Or am I getting too impatient?
Preparing to Ship is only on the US site - I've checked my bank account and no money has been taken - I wouldn't get your hopes up

Lol yeh everytime i look on this forum i end up getting caught up in the hype
it is afterall just a phone...I probably wont be saying that if my order messes up though aha
