1. Barcode scanner from the market

2. Press and hold the power button until the options screen comes up, choose power off.
 
Ive had some strange crashes with this phone lately.
Had it crash when it got red hot the other day and today it crashed as i was about to answer a call!

Anything like log files on this, so i can see causes?

When you do the update from SD card you need to have the ROM in the root of the SD card then run it.

So download the ROM you want to use now ;) coz if you are on that screen you have rooted :)

Had the same error. Are you using an x64 system? I had to do mine on a 32 bit system and I had to repeat the step a few times before it just worked.
 
Did not realise until today that the desire has many more led colours than just Orange Nd green ;D really useful for texts and email updates and different people :)
 
Hi, me again, newb question. I've installed both Facebook for android and facbook sense, how do I get it to link profile pictures with my contacts like it used to do out of the box??
 
my phone seems to be syncing all the time, it has the little broken circle in the notification bar all the time, how can I see what's using it?

Also, Handcent works, but I get two notifications in the notification bar one for handcent and one for the default mail app, even though I've told it I want to use handcent.

Any ideas?
