No point going to Murraygate, apparently the Orange store there only got one phone, and O2 has a queue round the corner.

At the Overgate they got 7 16GB's and one 32GB. Still only two people here (inc myself), so there's 6 16GB's still to be taken. :P

Tesco Kingsway apparently got 8 16GB's and 3 32GB's though! How does Tesco get more than Orange lol.

EDIT: From everything I've heard Orange aren't selling PAYG today, not sure though. Pre-orders are up on their website though!
 
Good Luck Queue people - fortunately for me UPS tracking says mines out for delivery - off to work in a bit so will have a play when Im back tonight ;). Good thing is, now Im going SIMfree I shouldnt ever have to Queue for an iPhone again :D

Hopefully people can confirm that iOS3.1.3 backups will restore fine on iOS4. If not thats quite a bit of fiddling to be done tonight then...

10 from the end of the o2 New street line! This is gonna be messy. Got to 9 here last
time to be the first in the queue turned away. Then the o2 Bullring had em. Suspect the same this time.
 
Stevenage o2 had 40 people outside when I got there at 7am .... got to start work at 08:30am so had to roast it :(

Might take an early lunch and try again later

Damn...to risk not getting it for the chance of PAYG from Orange, or to haul buttock to Kingsway and risk being 9th in queue for 16GB.

OMG!

Just went down to my local O2 shop at 7:25 and the queue stretched for 50 meters! I just walked home straight away, totally pointless, they probably only have like 10 phones anyway!

I'll wait then and see what happens. Not particularly bothered. I'll pop in later and ask them how many phones they had in but if it's anything like the 3G release they'll only have 10 phones in total.
 
Ima about 10th in line at the 02 shop in Milton Keynes. Man the queue for the apple shop is crazy long :eek:

I got here at 7:00 shop doesn't open till 9 :(
 
My order status says that it left the reading depot at 0542 this morning and is in the van on the way to me.

Good luck queue people! I bet it's a pretty good atmosphere in those big queues, until they run out of course.
 
Bought a 16GB from Orange this morning (online). Thought sod it, there are cheaper tariffs but no so much in it that it will make any major difference.

Just hope these reported issues don't surface for me or are fixed sharpish.
 
I walked down to be greeted by this queue. I swiftly did a 180 and walked back home!

I'm feeling more and more ashamed to be a Apple user. This cult following for a phone is just ridiculous, no other phone creates this much hysteria.
