Reception seems to be fine on my 3GS running iOS4
Ridiculous. Surely they would see these problems in testing..My cousin has just recieved hers. Has the reception problem from the link above lol :x currently trying to speak to various Customer services to see what the hells going on, but its basically un-usable when holding the phone anywhere but exceptional signal areas.

It's been suggested that it's a problem with iOS4 as the problem also occurs with 3G/3GS handsets running the new software.
Orange think mine should be out on delivery today, latest tomorrow - happy with that![]()
I just tried this with my 3GS and it didn't have hardly any effect to the reception bars...

Dont think its software, my 3gs is fine with the os4, hers doesnt work properly. Go figure.The problem is not with reception, but with the signal quality indicator in the software. People with the same software on 3G(S) models have reported the same issue, and also reported having no problems making calls when the signal quality is supposedly terrible.
