The old phone still works and the new one is fine on wifi at the moment so I'm happy to wait. If it's not activated by the end of the day I might start to get a bit worried. the guy in the shop said it 'could' take up to 24hrs.

Mine has just arrived cant even open it until I get home :(

funny thing is apple havent taken any money yet ??? when I first placed order my account balance went down now it seems that it is back up again?? as if it was all a dream :D..no entries on statement or anything ??

When my balance went down I thought they had ear marked it prior to dispatch or taken full payment in advance now my balance is back up hmmm.

Yep same - I have it delivered (According to UPS) but still no funds taken from me :p

Got to my local O2 store at 9.45 this morning (Yeovil).

There was a queue of around 50 people already there. I asked a guy near the front if the queue was moving quickly and he said no, he had been there since 5.30am.

Might go back later today but my guess is they will be sold out.

Might be old news but still quite important. What good is a phone if it has problem making calls.

Kind of interesting that most people don't seem to care and and more concerned if their "flawed" toy has arrived.

How apple store put my reserved one aside, as I wouldn't be picking it up till late :(

Yep as soon as I pre-ordered they done the bank check and my account went down £500 - a couple of days later I got it back =\

Kind of wish they kept it now because I don't have enough money pay them until tomorrow (Pay day ;) :p)
 
No blotches on mine. Just waiting for my micro SIM to become active now, could be a while with the amount of people trying to do it.
 
I hope this signal issue is only limited to the initial batches.

I'm partially deaf in my right ear, so hold the phone with my left hand. No iPhone 4 for me :(
