So far, nope. No-matter how I hold it mine is fine. However this is only 1 location which had a full 3G signal (I read some guys reckon it's more of a problem in lower signal areas).

So why are you saying this ?

If the way I hold the phone does it, and Apple don't announce a recall, I'll be taking it back for a refund under the 14 days. I'm not changing myself to suit the fault in the phone's design.

Not sure if this is correct but might be worth doing anyway:

Swapped to an iPhone4 on O2? Don't forget that you will need to send a text: WIFI to 2121 to reset your Cloud access at hotspots.

My bet is that a silent release of "iPhone 4. Now in multiple colours".

All they really are doing is spray the antenna with a non-conductive paint and effectively preventing the short from skin contact. It should work. It will be cheap. It doesn't add to the bulk thus their bumpers/dock would still fit. They just need to add 1 stage to the assembly line rather than a redesign.

Cancelled my preorder from the apple online store based on the antennae issue. Going to wait and see if they resolve it before buying one now.

Wouldn't that effect the reception? I.e. Quality of phone calls etc.

Ordered my 32GB one from Orange yesterday at 3am for delivery today before 12.

No updates from Orange with tracking information, and the track your order pages from their website says 'made ready for shipping'.

I hope it comes today, but I'm guessing Orange are going to come out with some form of excuse, and I bet I'm going to have to ring them rather than them letting me know what's going on.

Is anyone else getting this problem with their iPhone 4?

I keep getting a popup at random stating: "This Accessory is not optomized for this iphone...."

Its really irritating and I cant seem to find a way to turn it off. I have no accessories attached to my iphone! Ive done some searching and it seems a number of people are getting this issue. Was wondering if anyone on this forum gets it too!

Try blowing the sync socket.

My phone is fine, I was planning on getting a case/bumper for mine as I don't want to damage it. I've not suffered any connection issues then again I do hold it in my right hand so who knows. Either way Ive been waiting ages for this and i'm very happy to finally have it. :)
