It was my daughters Prom thing last night and I snapped a handful of pictures.

That's been attacked by iPhoto, cropped and reseized and probably full of jpg artifacts but you get the idea. It's a good camera.
 
Well ive decided that im definitely going to get one...as i said before i went to the regent st apple store but they had no 32gb models in stock...but did have an extensive play around with one on display and i have to say im suitably impressed by the screen and the general quickness of it...its pretty snappy and the camera on it isnt too bad tbqh.

Only problem is where the hell am i going to find one around the london area...i dont want to buy it network locked but apple website saying 3 weeks for delivery which is stupid really as im not going to wait that long:p.

Think ill have to take a trip down to lakeside or bluewater shopping centers tommorrow as ive tried calling them but no one picks up the freakin phones...
 
Any word on whether the device is unlocked? I realise if you purchase it from the Apple store, it's unlocked, but what about if you purchase it from a network provider?

In the past Tesco mobile hasn't worked with o2 sims, but have Apple really bothered to ensure that each network's allocated batch is locked to that particular network?

Got mine from the Tesco phone store in the end. Got into the shopping centre (Northampton) at 7am, already 10 queued outside the o2 store. Walked down further to the Tesco phone store, only to find the place deserted and being first in the queue. Why on earth would you queue outside o2? Tesco's deals were far, far superior.

Same here Spawn, I've spoken to Orange earlier and they are getting the 32GB models in hopefully in 4 days time, and then some more a couple of days later.

You can't actually reserve one until Monday and they are calling me up then :(

Still, gives me time to try one for the signal issue at the local shops over the weekend :p Provided it remains with some service I'll get one, not impressed by that at all though, total farce from Apple!
