*** The all new iPhone 4 thread - Keep all iPhone 4 stuff in here ***

cool, well i think im off to tesco when they have some stock

Well they seem to be the cheapest around even on the 24mth £45 a month tariff...my only issue is that they use the O2 network and im not that impressed with O2 as my brother uses a 3GS and he suffers horrendously from dropped calls and no reception....lives in London so shouldnt really be a problem but for him it is.

The Bolton store got some stock in today according to the stock site so I thought I'd pop down at dinner and have a look at the deals etc. They were queueing out of the door! Madness.

mine arrived from Tescos today - can't fault the service

phoned up yesterday - 0800 number, was on hold for less than 5 mins, ordered, free postage and arrived today :)

32 gig black one for 299 @ 35 a month for 12 months - 750mins, 1gig data a month

I didn't mind paying a decent upfront fee as I didn't want a long contract

Is the iphone from tesco mobile locked to their sim? or will it allow an o2 sim with them piggybacking on their network?

Thanks

Oh, and the phone is good Spawn, I'm quite sure you'll like it.

Im sure i will as ive played with one in the apple st on regent st in london a few weeks back...was quite impressed with it tbh.

Just wish there wasnt such a delay in shipping it....hopefully ill have it well before 3rd of august according to my order email from apple.

Indeed, I'm quite pleased I managed to get hold of two in as many days :p (I did wait a bit prior to that, but not too bad)

I seem to have dodged a lot of the stock issues! Just my luck the first one would be a dodgy one, if something can go wrong when I buy something, it normally does :( :p

yeah, still not had it yet. ETA sais 15th. orginally it said 15-16th so it is right. hoping its early though. got despatch from china yesterday currently at hong kong (guessing the plane will take off tonight or over weekend)

The estimated shipping date for my order was the 16th, but I checked my e-mail today to find that it has just been shipped. So hopefully I'll have it a couple of days earlier :D

I'm even more please with my Vodafone one, no signal issues at all, no matter how I hold it I get full signal in my flat, no sign of yellow spodges and haven't noticed anything with the proximity sensor.

same here, just got it this evening and no apparent problems at all, tho what's that you say about proximity sensor, is there some sorta problem there now too?

I'm getting a bit annoyed with waiting now. I paid a £60 deposit to reserve an iPhone 4 at the orange store in Leicester on the 30th June (for a new contract). So far I still haven't had a call to say it's in. Is stock really that low still?

Well that's ironic. An hour and a half after I posted that they rang! :D

Love this phone...

Interesting to note that quite a few people have commented on how clear I sound compared to my Nexus One.

When I had my N1 quite a few people mentioned that I sounded awful when using it.

That is interesting as they both have dual noise cancelling microphones, are you on the same network still?
