click on menu-people-menu-view-phone-done.

See if they are displayed now?

nope nothing, i can't seem to do anything with them, im hearing its a known bug.

arghghghg annoying.
I've taken a picture that I want to set as a contact picture when the person calls.
However when i select the menu optiion on the photo, and select set as contact picture, it goes to my contacts and will only show my gmail addresses, and not my phone numbers.

Why??
How do I set a manual photo as a contact picture!! It should be so simple but seems to be very hard.

personally i do all my contact editing in gmail and sync contacts. its good to have a backup for one. However doing what you wanna do... i would go to the contact on the phone, click edit and add picture that way rather then selecting the picture first if that makes sense.

Is OD 1.6 that good ??

I may nandroid my phone and install OD. If I have partitiond my SD card for use with DJ, do I need to change anything for OD ??

I see Facebook sync is fixed in OpenDesire 1.6... but how do you link people who's name is different on the phone to their Facebook account? sorry to be a dumb ass

got mine yesterday, and so far im loving it
been told its unlocked and unbranded model, check the firmware version and it says 2.1 that the latest?

got a couple of questions if i may...

anyone used the maps button for actual directions in your car or walking? does it work ok? if not can you recomend me a map that i can use in walking mode directions

also how do i know how much data ive used on the internet each month?

How long should it take to boot after flashing a new ROM? Just put opendesire 1.6a on my phone and it's hanging at the HTC boot screen. Been like that for 15 minutes.

I had this issue before, but an alternative download worked fine. Is this the right place to get the ROM from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=712615

I am also using the leaked 32.41.00.32U_5.08.00.04 radio as specified.

Just uninstalled Launcher Pro on my desire because i missed a few things sense had. However it keeps saying The application HTC Sense (process com.htc.launcher) has stopped and forces me to force close it. Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

*edit just a fyi but ive not used any custom roms on it or modded it in anyway.

When I had the sense force close loop only a factory reset fixed it. Hopefully you'll have better luck.
