No, absolutely not. The state has no place dictating what people wear generally. Any specific issues should be tackled in an evidence driven way (eg ban on all head coverings in government offices).
But it doesn't work like that as you well know.
Fine in theory but in practice the human rights industry and compensation culture sees it differently.
It really shows how much you guys know.
Im asian and a lot of my friends are pakis
I'll glady admit I don't like Muslims in my country, this is no secret. I don't think their culture is compatible with ours and it never will be.

exactly. we, as a country are becoming a push over. the veil gives off a sign of furtivness, they don't want to be seen, therefore they will not interact with anyone else in society but 'their own'. this is not what the uk is about, it's not what made us the country we are. would you feel comfortable if someone wearing a veil knocked at your front door? i wouldn't, certainly not as comfortable as i would if joe public knocked on my door but then i wouldn't feel that comfortable if 3 15 yr old lads knocked on my door but atleast i'd know who i was dealing with (off point) british society is about helping people and by that i mean something as simple as asking for directions from a stranger in the street and to do that, the communication lines need to be open.
I don't think their culture is compatible with ours and it never will be.
why not make a law protecting shops, business, police from any hassle when people are asked to reavel face or leave.

Is a prisoner still a prisoner if he doesn't know he's a prisoner?

The muslims are breading at a faster rate than the English.
What is the solution?
