The problem is we dont know who is and who isnt because they all look the same, so you can imagine the paranoia we have when someones standing in a bank or another high density area and you cant see if they have a suicide vest on or not because all you can see is their eyes.

Paranoia is not a good reason to make laws, and specific examples of high security areas are really bad for trying to justify a blanket ban of a specific item that performs the same function as many others...
 
I have some friends in the armed forces who tell me the biggest problem they have is they dont know who the enemy is, the ROE are that you cannot fire unless fired apon, and their enemies weapons are suicide vests and IED's, how do you fire back when you just died and all that exists of you is vapor mist ? This is the same civilians that house the taliban as an example, we should just drop a big bomb on all of them, war over.
 
These people have never done it before and jsut because some pshycotic idiots over in israel n other places have used a veil to do acts of terrorism does not mean its going to happen here as easily.


Weve had the veil for a long time and you lot are questionining it now like it has not been around for god knows how long in this country.

Banning specific types of clothing is not a path that you want to go down, but i personally think it is bigger than the ninja suit. It goes to allowing the Muslim religion to flourish in the uk. Recently there was an article that said that Britain's minority population is going to increase drastically in the future and the ratio will decrease. Some cultures or religions do not have such a big impact on the British culture. But Islamic culture is very different and it is worth questioning whether we should allow that culture to be given the same sort of respect.
 
You just have to see what muslims do to their own people to see its not a good idea to let them live in closed communities in other peoples countries.

The Roman population was replaced by the Saxons. The Saxons by the Normans and so forth. The British identity has always changed and always will.

By that logic of living in the history books, we would easily be taken over by islamic culture and eventually could be the dominating culture of the planet. Do you not see the different cultures on the planet and how they live. Do you not see any reason for the White British people to try and hold on to their culture ? Obviously it is a defensive mechanism. But look at islamic culture and how defensive that is. You can't expect the west just to be in such acceptance of foreign culture and then in the same tone frown against western culture.
