***The Official Forza Motorsport 3 Thread***

I don't suppose anyone has modded a wheel to add the right analog stick?
It's not like we need it 100% of any race but at least we'd have the option of locating opposition before we get punted off by them coming out of our blindspots.

There's only a few key bindings available for the wheel. You have a choice of being able to use the clutch or being able to look left or right. There's no way of being able to do both.

I couldn't believe it when I discovered this. I guess no-one used a wheel when play testing.
 
Anyone got the new car pack ? cant get it yet due to no internet ....

Whats the Mclaren like ? the rest of the cars look a bit poo
 
Mclaren is pretty good would be great with slicks

It loses the back end occasionally though
Its s667 i think to abput the same as the italia

I got it & the Mclaren is worth it Alone. :cool: I drove it out the box as a test at the Ring & it needs very little to make it awesome imho.
There's a big old Merc that has potential as a Thunder Saloon as well & the other smaller cars should tune up a class or two really well.

Why aren't there wing mirrors!

So annoying not being able to see if someone is on your ass or not!
 
The Blind spots are the one thing that boils my ****, Rear view mirrow is sound but no wing mirros suxs the big one. All they need to do is put a small mirror in the top corners of the screen.
The amount of times I've been racing & either taken somebody out or they have driven into me because of the blind spots is ridiculous. :(
Shouting on the mic is how I am getting around it but not enough people use there headsets.
 
Know what you mean malc, one R2 car I use, the #25 Lexus Eclipe... The windscreen wiper sits directly in your view so you can't see a single thing infront of you. Feel like a old lady! End up having to use bonnet view... Not fun, feel like I'm playing on a arcade game down the local bowling alley.

Just a small cry for help :(

Did the transfer to my new slim 360 the other day and the USB stick I used has corrupted and lost everything, all my saves gone from every game, including the 150+ hours of Forza, so I'm going to do what any sane person would do....

Start over!

If anyone has any soar cars of any classes, tuned or untuned, I would really appreciate the, how can I say....charity? Lol

Thanks again, I feel such a doofus :(

Without trying to rub this in, did you manage to transfer your save on to the stick before it corrupted. I tried to transfer from my 60Gb to my Super Elite and it would copy everything BUT the career save.

Any requests? I've got boatloads of cars and I don't mind losing a couple. Class? Drivetrain/engine configuration? You can have any Porsche I've got, I can't drive them for crap, and I'm rubbish with most American muscle cars if any of them are any good to you.

Just found what I would class a massive glitch regarding the DLC cars and private multiplayer lobbies. Due to mainly being cheap I have only purchased one DLC pack, the Road & Track pack. I do however have all the free taster cars which as you will know is actually the entire car pack with the rest of the cars locked out and unusable, well so I thought.

Joined a private lobby tonight with afew mates doing stock single make racing. They were half way through a race using 911 Sport Classics forced through the game setup. When I joined the room I was automatically shown as using the 911SC which I thought was odd as I have not purchased the full car pack. When the race was over I was able to ready up and use the car for races. Superb I thought and just to be safe we tried it with afew other car pack cars that I don't have. The Radical SR8, Zonda R, Ferrari 599XX and the McLaren MP4-12c from the latest car pack. All available to use :D

The only draw back is that the host appears to have to own the car pack and when the host changes the car in the game setup anyone who has not purchased the relevant pack has to drop out of the game and then re-join to be auto selected the car by the game. You are stuck with the standard colour too but thats not too big an issue. Will try and get a video up to show what I mean. Oh that Zonda R is totally insane :D

Sadly, it transferred everything aside from the "CD1" file :(

This was using Y > Data Transfer not copy & move, such bad luck :(

Cold have sworn I had you on there mate, but didn't seem to have, have sent a request :)

Any car you have would be great, just so I can get built up again, and start on the final achievement (All races completed) again :(

The road is long! But thankyou for your help mate :)
 
Forgot to say in my wall-o-text anything you would like in particular Tim? Will have a go through my garage later for stuff but if you have a thing for Porches or Ferrari's etc im sure my many millions of credits can help.

I transferred my entire garage/content from a 60GB HD to a 120 GB HD a while back without a problem.
