I agree. pretty much why I ended up with my 728i, saw plenty of 735,740 & 750's but none was in as good nick as the one I ended up with.

I'm finding history repeating itself whilst I hunt for another, 728i's a plenty, not so the bigger engined examples.... :(
 
Half regret selling my BMW. It was perfect inside & out but didn't want to use it just for weekends with it being expensive to keep on the road, servicing, insurance etc. I kept spending too much on it doing little bits up, too. It went to a good owner :) Will probably get a E90 next year.

Really miss the performance, and omg what a hoot!

However it just stressed me out as I wanted it to be something I could not afford (mint and faster!)

Very content, and happy with the E class now though! :)
 
No Regrets selling it, but wish I still had it. (If that makes any sense).

Both the car and the numberplate.

Really did not need to be spending £220 a month on a loan, when moving to a bigger property, and the first baby on the way. Seems like an age ago now...

I regret selling my old xr3i. Its sale was the marker for the end of University (which I really enjoyed) and I miss having to pop the bonnet and smack the starter motor with my crook-lock to get her going...
 
I definetly regret selling the Z4 in my sig. :(
I was doing too many miles in it and thought I'd go sensible with a diesel... if only I'd known that I'd be moving just a few months later and that the diesels that interested me weren't much more economical on fuel.

The 8 is awsome though and I'd probably regret ever selling it, so now I'll need a multiple car garage. With possibly another Z4 or an old 911...

This is how I feel about all my cars. I guess I am lucky in that growing up, I never had to sell and downgrade because of financial reasons.

My commiserations indeed, but my god that was almost blindingly avoidable by the sounds of it. I will never understand some men and their attitudes towards women.

This one sticks in my mind, when I got it, it was practically ready for the scrapper. I put my all into making it look like this then some idiot crashed into me and wrote it off.

One previous lady owner, very rare optional interior full Honda service history, such a rare find I was over the moon and so lucky when I found it, then I sold it to buy a sensible car so I could save up for a deposit with an ex, safe to say I miss the car far more than I miss my ex :(

I also miss my Civic VTI another minter but no where as much as my Prelude, probably because I spent some serious money on this car and it was all a total waste

an 87 VW Golf gti i had years back. what a hoot. and it made me money

the S4 i sold a few months ago. that made money too. that car felt special, it made journeys feel special. it was quiet, unassuming, and freakishly capable whatever the road, whatever the conditions. may not have been fun or involving but my word it was quick.
