cars you regret getting rid of :(

My E Reg classic mini, was ad to see it go but it was so knackered by then that we had to tow it too the scrappy, the engine was totally shot and the body work was more rust than metal!

My commiserations indeed, but my god that was almost blindingly avoidable by the sounds of it. I will never understand some men and their attitudes towards women.

Erm, what?

I willingly gave up my car so she could move forward in life and she cheated on me, 3 years after me taking her back for the first time she cheated. I put everything I could into the relationship but clearly it wasn't good enough for someone like her. No car or other material possession is going to get in the way of my relationships but after what she did I'd rather wish (in hindsight) that I kept it.

The only car I regret selling was my 1430cc mini. Was chocolate brown but had it sprayed radiant red. White 12" minilights. Managed to get 6points before i passed my test and sold it for £750, worth a lot more now and i managed to pass with 6 points anyway!

i will have to buy another soon, i have got major golf withdraw

that is a sublime example, if i'd own that i would have done whatever i could to keep it

i miss my mk 2 and mk 4 golf very much :( even if they were only a 1.3 and 1.4 respectively i thought they were awesome

I sold my lovely Impreza Classic and bought a mint ITR. The ITR is a fantastic car, if the roads and weather are good but it doesn't have the all round capabilities of an Impreza. The missus is 8 months pregnant now though and the ITR is sold, can you guess what I will be replacing it with...;)

Sold it because I was a bit sick of tuner politics & "roll a tombola for how much the next service is going to cost" and because I thought the bottom was about to fall out of the market.

As it happened and how things have turned out I could've probably had another year or more of ownership safely without losing money on it (made a small profit when I sold it). Such an immense and surreal ownership experience - both in speed (obviously) and attention.

wow, thats one hell of a nice Skyline GT-R !, im not that keen on skylines that much really, but that one is probabally the best looking one ive seen!

Even though I have never owned, nor even had a ride in one, I'm quite certain I'd shed a tear or two if I had to sell that ^

Both my Skylines, im driving a 306 2.0 HDI its a nice car and eats the miles up on the 40 mile round trip to work everyday but i feel lost without my Skyline :(

It will be my scoob:( Love it to bits but extended work abroad means there's little point in my weekend car.

All those missing their scoobs are welcome to make me an offer (sam i'm looking at you):D

My Pulsar GTI 1990 import .... miss it, great car!!

150bhp - Should have kept it to thrash around

Lovely.

I miss my SR. First car, didn't put a foot wrong and cost peanuts to run. Can only imagine the GTI being that much better with some proper power under the hood.

Had to be sold to go towards deposit on flat. Still miss it a year and a half on.

Fool!!!!!!!!!

Live in the Teg then VTEC is in reach all the time.

Sold it because I was a bit sick of tuner politics & "roll a tombola for how much the next service is going to cost"

Please explain more :)
