**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

I'm off to go buy this after a failed attempt yesterday.
Does anyone know how much it is in retail? Can't afford any more than £35 atm :(

Specifically Gamestation or Hmv? Can't ring em at work

You can only play as Terran.

I picked it up for £35 from a London HMV, so it can be expected that this is the maximum you will find it for in any of there stores ;)

Or, more accurately (As Terran):

1 - Click Command Centre, press S.
2 - Select all peons and send to 2nd mineral patch
3 - Deselect 3 of them (shift+click wireframes) and send to last but one mineral patch
4 - Set CC's rally point to an unused mineral patch
5 - Once SCV is built, build another and set rally point to the final empty mineral patch
6 - Follow whatever build order you have planned.

Omg. I'm such a noob at this; I didn't even realise that the SCVs stuck to the specific mineral patches that you set them to harvest! I thought they just picked one out of the closest "bunch". :S

Really enjoying it so far - everything feels really polished. Working through single player first, think i'll get my ass handed to me if I try MP at the moment.

When I first installed patching didn't work without being run as an administrator despite UAC being off. No lag under my sli 2x260 gtx although I have some minor drawing issues in the cutscenes now and again.

Well, I'm a little less than halfway through the campaign and so far it has been bug free except for 1 rather large bug I came across. I was doing an early mission for an artifact and when I got ingame the CC couldn't build more probes, probes couldn't build anything other than barracks, and the barracks could only build marauders. I just figured at the time that the mission was meant to limit what I could use as the base was meant to be temporary and the marauders were the new unit I gained.

Anyway, after I finished the mission the cutscene back on the ship was bugged, the background was fine but all character models were missing, and all that was there was white spheres with black spots on them, with the voice acting going on while the camera just pointed to these white spheres. I decided to restart the game to see if that would solve it, I restarted and it did solve the issue but it turns out none of my saves from that marauder mission onwards were there, so I had to redo from that mission onwards, although this time I started the mission I had full access to the buildings and units I am meant to have.

Yes the peons eventually split on their own but it puts you at a huge disadvantage as it's very ineffecient.

You can't just expand after 21 peons, it should be based on your opponent. If they are occupied or you are harassing them, expand etc.

Loving the single player so far. The mission variety is great and I like the upgrade system. It really shows that they put a lot of effort into it.
