ST1 no traction control or xenon headlights, basic cd player
ST2 Has traction control , xenons and mp3 sonyhead unit
ST3 As above but with full recaro leather and 6cd indash sony headunit...5dr 5 seater, 3 dr only 4 seater as rear bench is sculpterd 2 seater

They are just trim levels.

ST-1 is for poor people. ST-2 has more stuff, ST-3 has leather.

It sounds nice but it's boring mostly and the 2.5 has greater tuning potential.

If it has plastic handles to operate windows and manual on/off aircon it sounds to me like it has just about nothing.

It still amazes me that cars like the Focus ST don't have rear eletric windows. It's something I noticed about a year ago when shopping for a hatchback for my mum. Literally no one spec'd them, or you had to pay stupid money and get a top of the range spec just to get rear eletric windows :confused:

I was out with killsta in his ST and was shocked it had no electric rear windows in his 5 door car

I'd be pretty peeved if I didn't have auto AC and wind-up windows at the back.
Sometimes it's nice to have the rears open but not the fronts.

I suspect I was spoiled in my 8 year old Leon, it even had an auto-dimming rear view mirror.
I must say I do miss it though..

My 5 door ST (XR5) has electric rear windows and heated leather seats.

Not sure why they decided to make the Aus spec one better than the UK spec one. (and I have no idea why it has the heated seats in this weather)
