Trance is so vastly misunderstood...

Here are some of my favourites from over the years, I apologise if the have been posted already.

I think that's enough for now, and enough for a topic of debate oas to how rubbish my choices are. :p

Bullet In The Gun is one of the few track out there that makes me rage, I hate it so much!

Still not as bad as this dross:

It heralded in a new era of emo-trance :(

To help us get over the shame that is Anthem, I present to you a superb remix of a great tune, with vocals from the luscious Emma Hewitt <3 :

4:00 onwards is where the magic really happens. Progressive WIN

I always feel a little disappointed with First state that nothing has ever topped their first track 'First state'

Though i do have very fond memories of Falling (Stuck Parachute Mix) (love it @4.30mins) and Evergreen.

Oh yes, 'Falling' is an amazing track, I remember hearing it first in one of Armins sets a couple of years-or-so back (2007 yearmix?) and instantly falling in love with it. I prefer the original over what you've posted though.

@Jonnybmac, nice tunes mate :) Sean Tyas is a legend, <3 Time. Also loving 'Blue Tente - Heading Home', not sure if it's been posted already so apologies if it has:

Oh and another, two superb tunes brought in to one mix:

I feel so different, First State have some outstanding tunes, can you not say for instance You own way isnt a great track?

Two outstanding versions

benftl, Sean Tyas is the king of progressive, I love a lot of his remix's. and I love the vibes I get from Blue Tente, is almost as if their music takes you to another world, its what trance is all about, that state of mind where you feel your floating on a different level. Its the only music I dont need to be intoxicated up to have that feeling of euphoria.

Im so in love with trance, and I miss the fact Goodgreef has moved away from Tall Tree's, Yarm, Gatecrasher should also come and have a regular night there as it was an awsome night when Armin played in there.

384 is my all time favourite, you should give it a listen :)
Will do :D

If you like Mauro Picotto and John then check out this track
Oh yes I know that track well, wasn't sure until the riff kicked in :)

I think this track is by far the most beautiful trance I've ever heard. If I could take only one song with me to the grave, I think this would be it:

So uplifting... the bass... the melody... words cannot describe...:

Armin is ****, saw him at Global Gathering this year and it reinstated the fact that he's overrated far beyond anyone imagination. Mass cheese invasion with his terrible cheese lyrics. He's nothing on old school Tiesto or PvD. Started to go off trance last year for this reason, now I mainly listen to tech house.

I can honestly say 'your own way' isn't a good track, in fact i actively dislike it like it, like a lot of the cookie cutter vocal trance. Sorry :)

And although I'm a big Tyas fan, 'progressive' he definitely is not!

I guess trance is ok, i like some of the stuff, more into DNB though to be fair. Same sort of tempo range, but more my thing =]

The tunes on here are pretty intense though *raves*

Once again Mat Zo comes up trumps with another cracking remix.

Never fails to impress me that kid, consistantly one of the best producers on the scene in my opinion. Him and Wallbridge have put out some of the best trance tracks this past couple years.
