BTW, in case it hasn't been mentioned here, the Physx drivers are borked in this.

It installs drivers that universally break Physx for me (I have a dedicated 8800GT for Physx), and do not work with this demo.

I had to reinstall the .0224 Pyhsx drivers to get it working again.

Deinstalled demo, as any attempt to run it and it installs the borked drivers again.

Reports on other forums confirm the borkness of the demo.

Such an awesome demo and sure to be a awesome game when its released. I love the fact you can interact with just about anything - even flushing the loo in some backstreet bar. Game runs fine for me on my old PC with a E6600 and 250 GTS. 2x AA and the rest on high.

Demo level was short but I am having fun exploring what seems to be a a very small part of a huge city.

Delete the Phsyx files :cool:

Putting the Physx option on max reduced the performance of my 5970, medium Physx and everything else on max is absolutley fine.

I'll be buying this but not on Steam.

Just played now and well it's awesome.

Absolutely love it. Defiantly getting it when it's out

Though when I exited the game it changed my screen brightness.

Downloaded and had a quick go just to see if it runs ok on my rig. It looks and runs great but the car physics are awful.

Did that to me as well, i had to change resolution, then revert back to my native resolution to change the brightness.

the "zoom" problem and brightness problem that people have.. will this be fixed before its released? I have a feeling they'll release this as it is then perhaps release a patch later..nevertheless its still a good game on the level of gta 4 and saboteur imo..will there be MP in this game ?

Slightly off topic, but what version are people pre-ordering? The Special Edition looks the best value with two DLCs for £27.99. Although I would have liked the War Hero pack, it does appear however that you can't get that one yet for PC.

Hopefully all the pre-order DLC will be available for purchase at some point.

The special edition comes with Made Man and Greasers DLC Packs, not bad for an extra £3.

I didn't buy it for the DLC, i went for the cheapest on where i usually buy games, but yeah, i hope the DLC will be available in the future to purchase.
