What iPhone 4 accessories are you considering?

I'm impressed with the SGP Oleophobic, you can't tell that's it on unless you look at the edges but the bumper takes care of that ;) also it there's no orange peel but most importantly the quality of the retina display is not effected.

But make sure you install it in a steamy bathroom because when you peel it your can hear the static sound so it would definitely attract dust and lint.

Man they are expensive?? I take it they are very very good at that price?

They are cheaper on ebay...sell for around £30 here if you look around but i paid about £14 for my anti glare film set.

Still havent received mine yet though...i ordered 2 tops from America and they have both arrived quicker than the power support film set that i ordered a few days before them.

if i have my phone in a gear4 icebox ( complete front and back shell ) would you still use a screen protector ? even though the screen isnt exposed as its already enclosed within a shell ?
yey or ney ?

I'm in the process of going through this thread to find a decent slip case for the iPhone 4. Anyone got any recommendations?

I wouldn't really recommend the ivyskin reception case. It is very thin, and looks pretty, but creaks when you squeeze it, and the protection for the top and the bottom of the phone is minimal, as is the protection for the front glass (I would have hoped the case was as deep as the phone to reduce the risk of hitting glass first when you drop it, but it's not)...

Second this, recently installed the SGP Oleo on the front of my iPhone 4 after a recomendation from a friend. There is no obstruction of the screen in anyway, looking as if you are seeing the glass of the phones screen. The clarity is superb with the only downside being it doesn't come with the back film.

For the back I opted for the SGP Ultra which fits and works very nicely.

Yesterday I bought a generic smart phone pro-tec case for my iPhone. It's slightly wider than the phone, so when I get the bumper it should be perfect. Nice little leather case with a tab at the top you can pull to get the phone out easily.

Very pleased with it as it means I can put the phone in a bag, or in my pocket without having to worry about it. Yes, I know it probably wouldn't break in a bag or pocket if I'm not stupid, but for £500 I'm not risking anything.

I have been considering the dock, shame it's such a rip off. Some basic connectors covered in nice Appley plastic. No thanks. Ok, it might be a bit more than that, but still £25 is a bit much.

I'm also considering one of those adjustable 'any-phone' suction cup mounts for the car since I got the TomTom app. It'll need to be adjustable as I'll have the bumper on when it arrives.

I did take a look at the radio/alarm clock docks in Sainsbury's yesterday. Tempted to get a nice one with an auto-updating clock etc. for my bed-side table.

Can anyone recommend a suction cup mount for the car? Also, can anyone recommend a clock mount that will auto-update the time either via radio, or via the iPhone's time?

Thanks

My mate has a RED icolor wrap on his iphone 4, suprisingly in person it actually looked alright. I am gonna get a black one, I don't use any case or shields on my iphone 4 but this in black will look nice I reckon.

Got my Power support screen protector that i ordered from ebay a few weeks ago...was under the impression that it was a front and back protector but seems like its only the front protector :/....havent really had a chance to look at it but it did say on the pack that its the HD anti glare film set...checked the ebay sale and im sure it said it was both front and back...ebay listing now says its only front...which you get 2 protectors.

Anyhow nevermind, im going to put the front protector on altho at the moment i have a boxwave anti glare protector on the front but the boxwave one i ordered a few weeks ago came with both front and back...so ill just keep the back protector on and stick the front power support one on.

I want a decent high quality iPhone 4 case, what ones are people using and where are they getting them from?

(I know its a bit vague, but I'm open to suggestions :p)

The bumpers are quite awful.

It depends what you want. Booklet, slip, body cover, alternative bumper?

I bought my case from T-Mobile for £9.99 - Pro-Tec generic 'smart phone' case. Fits perfectly with a slight gap at the sides for when I put the bumper on.

Do they still sell the bumpers in the Apple stores?

Depends which store. Phone you closest one(s) and ask, they might still have stock.

Well, something to put the phone inside, maybe with a flip front (if it was really good). Not bumper-style stuff :(

Apple ARE NOT selling any bumpers in any of their stores according to what the guy told me last week at lakeside...theres no point selling them until after 30 sept as they are giving them away free although its only black colour and no other colours.

Tbh the bumper isnt all that nice, certainly not worth the £25 thats for sure. I had one on mine for a week or so but took it off as it doesnt work with my iphone4 dock...i just have a front and back protector on it and keep it in a pouch....ive ordered a carbon fibre back and strip for the silver sides to give it a carbon fiber look.

Last time I checked with Apple Birmingham (about a week ago) they had them, but didn't give me one as you have to get the free one through the bumper app.

They might have them, but I dont think they are actually selling them - Ive not noticed them being on display at the MK branch the last few times Ive been there...

P.S. I love my bumper, hate it without it as the phone is just too slippy and not as comfortable to hold in the hand - I must be wierd :p

As soon as you put the bumper on, the phone loses most of its premium feel and feels like something you would get free with a happy meal :( :p

I can see where you are coming from though, sort of.
