Road Rage.................

Don't forget this post was made after the incident, and after the child would have been pronounced dead officially.

I can't see where he's actually declared the child dead other than in his post.

Shocker of a story, why would you slam on your brakes nowing that your actions will most likely induce a crash? (no mentioning of crash for cash) and then AFTER witnessing the crash being low enough to shout at the woman driver?! Has he zero morales???

It is of course far more likely than not it never happened anyway. I mean just read it again and think about how its written... much of it simply doesn't add up..

Shocking if true :(

I have to admit I have partaken in the odd road rage incident myself but having just got back from a country where being cut up seems to be part of living and where nobody ever gets angry you quickly learn to chill when driving.

The news media / safety organisations etc would be all over this like a rash.

Whilst a shocking story, it reminds me more of a text version of a road safety film.

I'm Dubious as are many in the 75 forum it seems.

the posts reads like a someone who wants to inflate their image as a hero (big guy who rugby tackles criminals) and pass solemn judgements to his awestruck audience.

The death of a 2 year old in a road rage accident would have been big news and yet there isn't a sniff of it anywhere.

sorry to sound cynical but i call total and utter bull****

if anything remotely like this happened it would have been headline news. sounds like internet wannabee stroking his ego.

and as previously mentioned WTF a rover 75 owners club? who the hell would admit to that?

IMHO the 75 is the best car Rover ever made. Whilst this is in some ways a bit like winning Sports Day at a special school, it's still not exactly bad. It's better than most of the stuff Foxtrot hoons about in :p

I'm sorry but I had to laugh at that. :o:D

I'm rubbish at searching on this forum, but I'm sure someone in GD made up a similar story about saving someone from drowning when their car crashed into a lake?

when I first read this "story" I instantly thought of that, and poo

It was someone called 'Paras' if I recall, although the story was slightly different, it involved a river not a tree and the 'hero' saved both occupants. He was never seen in GD again after being called up on it but I believe still posts on other forums here.

If I witnessed anything like that my first port of call would not be the internet and probably would never want to speak about it ever again to anybody.

Some people just don't know when to stop themselves. A few years ago some nut in front of me decided he was going to give the woman in front what-for when we came to a stop. I saw the door open and I was out of my car like a shot to stop him. Can't believe that people think it's acceptable behaviour.

I suppose if the childs head was on the floor and the body was still in the car that would allow for his instant diagnosis

I'm still calling BS, just re-read the part about them being on a dual carrriage way and the truck instantly blocking them in whilst watching the whole incident in his mirror....

Totally agree. This is BS

i had somebody try this on me in an insignia with an england flag in the back window a few weeks ago after he decided that I had inconvenianced him as I pulled out into the outside lane (directly behind something moving no faster than me that was overtaking at 80 or so, thus I inconvenianced him by my cars length when he was 5 car lengths behind at the time doing +20 or so).

he undertook me (forcefully, it was either let him back in between me and the car infront or he was going to take my wing off), and then slammed on down to about 40....luckily I had anticipated it and at least for the first few stops my cars stoppers do alright, but it couldve easily ended up FAR worse.

Maybe its not on the news because the little girl was black or from an ethnic minority. Press only care if its white, a bit like all the fuss over Madeleine McCann.
Now on serious note, this is screaming for the ocuk detectives to get stuck in

That's terrible... but, I thought I would just like to mention. We are very lucky in Europe, I have been living in Canada for 6 months now and people here not only are terrible drivers they also have really bad road rage problems, even those old/obese people on the scooters and cyclists have road rage. So... yeah. Count your blessings as the English seem to be some of the best drivers in the world.
