Road Rage.................

This is from the OP

Accidents like this happen every day, so it wont be "plastered" all over anything or anywhere, it is not a rare occurrence, people die on our roads every day, and very rarely does it get publicised!!

I totally agree with this statement, I've read that journalists are now actively encouraged to ignore loss of life no matter how large and focus on flower shows and horse displays.

Point in case I was just driving to work and an entire coach filled with 300 people (special coach with extra bits) blew up, it was a quiet road though and the truck driver in front had an empty rig so we picked up the pieces and drove off luckily he had been watching the whole incident through his rear view mirror (trucks have these now).

let that be a lesson to you reading this, you could die today and no one will write about it, life is short and now totally ignored by te media.

You can tell the guy panicked about his story and tried to sweep it under the carpet as soon as some doubts arose. Definitely fake.

Whilst the wording of the OP was a bit strange, this is what I put the lack of media coverage down to.

I think other people would struggle to write a post properly after witnessing such a thing.
 
I wanted to see if the media pounced on this before commenting, as I'm sadly partial to road rage episodes myself, but have calmed down a lot over the years and I tend to just ram people that cut me up into more deformable objects rather then trees these days.

You sound as if you actually believe his very sarcastic statement!

The media would totally frenzy over a road rage incident killing a 2 year old girl, there is no way this would ever go unnoticed.. there's everything in it, a villain, a highly vunerable victim and a hero..


There is always a chance it's real, and of course it's a flippin sad thing to have happened, but objectively, it's highly suspect it hasn't been picked up yet.

there is no way on gods green earth in this day and age that a 2 year old killed by road rage wouldnt make the papers/news/billboards, nada, nisch, never

I'll stake my remaining hair that its far far from true, he probably saw a bit of road rage on the a303 and felt compelled to post about it, realising it sounded rubbish in its pure form then altered it to enlarge his e-peen - or not as the case may be.
 
I find it hard to believe that the women would be cashing the guy after she cut him up? As said in this thread, a women with a child in the car wouldn't be driving recklessly, it doesn't fit.
 
There are two possibilities here.

1. No one has told the press, in an attempt to be sensitive.

2. The press know, and the Mother or the police has asked them to leave it alone, due to the sensitivity of the matter.

Saying its impossible that the media wouldn't have printed such a story is a little naive

I don't believe that is what the OP said - he claimed that the Road rager chased her, overtook and then slammed his brakes on.

or 3. the car was a rusty sleeper volvo slammed to the ground and penski quickly loaded it onto a pickup truck after loving the retro tree in the grill look, the mother was then brainwashed by Fox that she never had a child and instead should buy a mondeo or if funds permit a 530, the road rage guy was killed by three unknown teenagers with keyboards and 4-chan t-shirts, the truck driver got promoted for his actions and now works for Stobart. Not forgetting the hero of the hour, the rover 75 driver got made a man of honour on OcUK and was awarded three free head gasket changes a year by his local garage.

Nobody needs to 'tell' the press in order for them to find out about a fatal multi vehicle accident on a main road.

2. The press know, and the Mother or the police has asked them to leave it alone, due to the sensitivity of the matter.

The press are able to report things in the public interest unless a court injunction prevents them from doing so. You cant just 'ask them to leave it alone'.

Option 3 is the most likely. He, like yourself, tells stories on the internet.

I don't think even the Sub89er newspapers would report on a story after the involved mother who has just lost her 2 year old daughter has asked them not to.

It would be in the press before she even thought to say no. What's she going to do, contact every one of the thousands of news outlets in the country? You dont simply say 'no thanks press'.

Thank you all for your words, in my original post I have deliberately not written car makes, names or even the location of the accident, and it shall remain so, out of courtesy to all involved!! I am sorry if you don't believe me, or feel that something isn't quite right with the story, but I didn't post it for people to analyze it, it was to help me, mainly, get it off my chest and feel a bit better.
