Been off-line since Sunday evening. Finally gave up with the random shutdowns (it wasn't heat). Its been weird sitting next a quiet, dark and cold machine! Bit the bullet and replaced the PSU - good so far - fingers and everything else crossed! I think if it runs for 24 hours at stock OK, I'll crank it up with the GPU overclocks and see how it goes! I'm wondering whether the lightning strike the house took a few weeks ago played a part - there was one unexplained flash/bang in the area where my rig plugs into the mains.......better not mention that if I return it under warranty!

I'm sitting with a humungous radiator in front of me!!! This wc set up is not going to win any design style prizes - that's for certain! Good god, I could cool my car engine with it!!!!
 
Ahhhhh good man fingers crossed for the new psu sah, you realise another 24 hours and you would be officially a slacker and thrown in said dungeon :D;)
 
Thanks for the news. It isn't much, but since my machines are designed to be power-efficient (both sub-150w :) ) and only run seti with their spare cycles, it took me over a month to earn this, so I thought I'd share. :)

.....mnnn, if I can't find them, it could be a case of pumpy, squirty on Friday!!!!!
 
The annoying thing is, I left them 'safely' in the box last night! They can't be more than 4 feet away from me, but bugger if I can see them!!!!!

At least it sounds like you are running again means I will not be overtaking your good self anytime soon, can't make mine go any faster than it already is dammit :D

Given up looking now - ordered some along with the final few parts I need (doubtless they will turn up just as I open the ones I bought separately). Installing wc is like building a machine from scratch - you think you've got everything covered, only to find you need more widgets!!!! ;) Still, hopefully I've got all my bases covered now, and I won't have to do a Toxic and dash out at oh my god 'o' clock to find some bizarre part!

Everything seems fine and dandy on the rig side of things now - even put the first stage of overclock back on the GPUs :eek: The room seemed a different place without it running - cooler for sure, but deathly quiet!!!!!
