well since parting with my vectra vxR, ive purchased this at the start of month

2005 subaru impreza wrx sti type uk, so far ive tinted windows and painted wheels black as the gold wheels made me heave everytime i saw it lol!

nex is a 3" turbo back exhaust and panel filter then remap

I wouldn't run a full decat on a newage STI unless you're getting the map done at the same time. You don't need a panel filter, the OE one is fine on Scoobies.

My knackered old shed

It's been really good actually, got the problems with it sorted and it's been reliable and a pretty good car really. It's taken a fair bit of abuse - days out with muddy dogs, being broken into etc etc. Still wearing a few scars from the latter, but nothing too bad

There's not a massive amount in it I reckon - the practicality of the hatch is well worth it IMO

For a car that, including sorting the problems, owes me less than 2 grand you cant really knock it

They do, but there's a set of chrome bumpers and some refurbed rostyles at the back of the workshop waiting to be fitted

Doesn't fix the lolridehieght and emissions regs crippled engine however

Best pic of the Old Girl I could find. Whitewall tyres need to go, as do some of the badges as it looks too 'busy'. Not bad considering it was restored before I entered this World

Nah but it was a bargain, he struggled to find something "right" as his first retirement project. He wanted something that needed a bit of bodywork so he could get the practice, but not a complete wreck.

He's talking about doing something silly like putting a V8 in it anyway

Thanks, the colour is inferno orange I believe. Unfortunatly it will be up for sale soon as we are expecting our first baby :eek:
