I dont think you can carry on after it ends..? I,m sure I read that it would be some kind of Dlc like Fallout 3.
 
Ok so what if I load a previous save, I am hated with NCR right now, would I still be able to build my rep with NCR by ignoring the Legion quests?

Yep if you load up an earlier save where you are still tolerated by them, you can do small quests to boost your reputation with them, most NCR camps and outposts have some jobs to boost your likeability.

Ive got them all :D I do kill a lot of things though. Lvl 29 here
 
Started again anyway as I wanted to build a good rep this time, I really wanted to get boon as a companion but when I did the quest for him I only led the wrong person out in front of the dino and now he won't talk to me again, So I am looking for a better follower now
 
I think I've experienced my first glitched mission, in a bad way.

Was doing the quest where you have to investigate the communications tower at Camp McCarran and a person (won't spoil it) came along and asked me what I was doing. A speech challenge came up which said I was just going for a midnight walk. He walked off. I have now waited at the tower for 3 nights (in game, I'm not that bothered :P) and no one has turned up. The quest marker is still at the tower.

Also got my first companion, that doctor guy from the Follower's camp in Freeside.

I thought it was glitched as well, took me ages to work out what i needed to do! If you go outside the tower at say 10pm, wait until just after 1am then sneak in, your culprit should be inside :)

I realised you could check how much you have done. 2000something out of 10 000, which is what, like 20 mobs? I think I need to do more killing and less sending my companions in :D

Get yourself a sniper rifle or a hunting rifle with a scope mod. Awesome sneak ranged attacks ;)

Depends what perks and weapons you have in 3. My character can take a Super Mutant up to a Brute, or a human characters leg off in one to two shots depending on how powerful they are. You can also shoot the hand grenades if the enemy is carrying them and it will explode in their hand, blowing their arms, legs or head off, sometimes all three.
 
The freezing on mine is getting tiresome now. Does anyone know if you can make things easier by reducing the save file size or something and how you would do that?

FFS it froze loading up the ending video...
 
Go to Load and if you hover over your autosave file it tells you the play time. Thats on PS3 but im sure Xbox is similar.

I have read that clearing the HDD cache and deleting unused save games can help, although i have yet to have a crash i have been stuck in a rock though....
