** spoilers ** English League Football [20th - 22nd November 2010]

I was getting them mixed up, but as it happens the break was his fault, he stands off Ekotto, giving him all the time in the world to pick out the long ball, if he closed him, he wouldn't have made that pass, goal doesn't happen.

EDIT:- Even getting that mixed up, that was the Bale goal.
Perhps you'd be better placed to comment on a game if you actually paid attention to what happened?

How you can claim to be an expert on watching so many teams in the Premiership, when you can't even get the facts right about the lone early game that was just on, is beyond me.

Hard to see because of the silly logo, but that am is well over head height, and that blur next to it is the ball leaving the scene.

Sorry so that picture shows his arm ABOVE HIS HEAD does it, really.

No, you mean it doesn't, well done. His arm is infront of his face really, but its actuall across Chamakh more whose about 3 foot taller than him.

You can't quite easily see because of the logo, that his arm IS not above the logo, at all and the top of Chamakh's head will be just about in line with that, not to mention thats after the contact, I don't care if he jumps on top of Chamakhs head and reaches up to the sky afterwards.

Because I'm angry, high on codeine, with a stinking headache, and have adrenaline pumping through my veins. It really doesn't matter if I'm talking about the 1st goal, or the 3rd goal, it happened in that game and anything else is besides the point.

When you actually rewatch the bale goal you see Song decide to stand off Ekotto for about 5 seconds rather than close him down, then you see Denilson half mark Bale's run but slow down at the wrong moment, and Sagna also decides to step off Bale and give him too much space, if you had to be ultra critical, any of those 3 could have easily prevented the goal by doing their job correctly.

Are you on crack, Cesc is holding Chamakh's arm, yes, where did I say he wasn't, Chamakh raised his arm above his own head, Fabregas was holding on to his arm below the elbow, Fabregas's arm, at point of contact, was in no way above his head, and it was out infront of his and Chamakh's upper chest, had it not hit his arm, it was going to hit their bodies.

Penalties are simply not given when it hits the arm, or hands, and the arms are infront of the face, balls, chest, whatever.

Am I on crack? I hope the irony isn't lost on you...

Punctuation would help by the way DM, the lack of full stops makes it incredibly difficult to read your posts.

Regardless of where Fabregas' arms were, it was a blatant penalty rightly given by the referee. It doesn't really matter who gave away the penalty; it was given and Arsenal lost, end of.

BOWYER!!!!

1-0 Birmingham!

See this is what makes it funny. Who predicted that Chelsea could slip up again against Brum. Not hard considering they're not a bad side and the champions have loads of injuries.

We 'should' be top with a few to spare tonight.

Still, if Chelsea drop points it's not all bad ..

I was going to say it kind of brings your credibility into question, but then I remembered who I was talking to.

i must say, as much do respect wenger, he doesn't half act like a brat at times

To be perfectly honest...if i was Wenger and saw Arsenal just literally hand the game to the Spurs then id be spitting blood as well...and im pretty sure most managers would react the same as well....pretty sure dodgy 'Arry would have thrown a tantrum if they just lost a 2 goal lead too.

Indeed and as long as Utd drop points then its not all bad but really we should be top as of today but we arent.

Im hoping Vermaelen will get back to fitness soon...we desperately need his level headedness in defence because im sorry Squillaci and Koscielny arent that great tbh.

http://highlights.indonewyork.com/videos/200/arsenal-2-3-tottenham.html

Thats about the best vid I can find of the video, his arm is always bent its never straight up, his arm is actually more infront of Chamakh, its never in a million years over his head, the ball was going to hit either Fab's head of Chamakh's chest, and its Chamakh that raises his arm higher, not Fabregas lifting Chamakh's arm.

Likewise, look at the Bale goal, whose that standing off Ekotto for ages letting him get the ball away, plus we know for a fact Song gave away the freekick leading to the penalty decision(which was ridiculous). Its so clear Fabregas is only trying to stop getting a ball in the face, and the contact certainly doesn't prevent a shot on goal, only his face getting smashed.
