Hmmm, did you use ROM Manager to flash the patch, it could also be that the zip file was corrupt perhaps? Although verification would have failed if that were the case!

About to flash mine :S

all ok :)

I used recovery to flash, amron or whatever its called, basically i stuck my msd in pc and it fixed the errors :) all good

I'm all booted after patch, noice!

Now to flash my UOT mods and various other tweaks :D

You should set up htcsense.com :D

Anyone know of a good ad blocker? Just installed angry birds and the adverts popping down are annoying, didnt get this with leedroid, i know its to support the developers of game and all that but still :)

My one was a few quid on ebay and is easily modded so a cased desire fits into it as shown here:

Before:

After:
htc_desire_cradles_cased.jpg

Like the case.. where and how much please?

ebay, no brand, about £3 or so I paid!

Everything in DesireHD ROM is working for me now, no issues at all and the htcsense.com dash is pretty damn neat :d

Yup, via the official Facebook app. I don't use SenseUI so don't know about the HTC Facebook app for HTC SenseUI but official app works fine.

Also, it appears you can download HTC Maps via the Locations app, also voice files for mapping. Might give it a try over Google Nav but I doubt it's better than Google Nav, maybe OK for offline use but I tend to get 3G/HSDPA everywhere anyway.

As long as you have the latest Desire radio everything is fine, you should always have the latest radio!

The camera app is the DHD camera, it's the internal libraries that have been modded in from the Desire to work. Don't enable 720P, Camera will crash!

I might be Nandroiding back to Leedroid. I have noticed a few things over the past half day that I have been using this ROM.

1: Battery life. Unplugged for 5hrs 44mins and battery is at 64%
I have not done anything heavy either, just checked email and some Google Talk and that is it. High display usage @ 68% for the 1hr 5mins it says the display has been on for. The next one down is cell standby @ 6% over 5hrs 46mins.

2: Youtube uploading issue, no notifications of videos being uploaded and completed even though it appears the video uploads but you also get a error saying account details could not be found!

Not too bothered about the youtube bug that much but the battery one is important, I think it's the kernel...

I've not used the latest clockworkmod recovery but it should be in there and if not then it has to be done via ROM Manager.

Alternatively the better recovery that does do it I linked to earlier, AmonRA v2.0!

Flash RichardTrips sense kernel, works fine on HD roms, my battery life is as good as it was on Aurax.

I have AmonRa on mine much better than clocworkmod if you ask me, I just flashed my brothers desire with the same rom using clockworkmod and couldnt find the option to do it, ended up sticking his sdcard in mine and formatting in mine and flashing it on his :)

Thats what I was on but everyone seems to think ClockWork is better :(

Going back to AmonRA as Clockword keeps saying it can't even mount my SD Card!
