There seems to be an alarming number of people living with their parents well into their twenties these days, and as a result basically not 'growing up' and learning to do things for themselves.
And plenty of them are unemployed since they don't 'need' to work, so they don't bother. And just sit at home playing xbox.
Sadly at least half of my friends fall into this category. As a result they have a very narrow/unrealistic perspective on life. Very sad.![]()
It's called "being in a rut". I've been there. The longer you stay in that position the more you lose self confidence and eventually you become apathetic and depressed about your life.
Getting out of this sorry state is not easy. Trust me.
I have to say that were all very happy. My uncle (44ish) still lives with us (only weekends as he works away and stays in a B&B) and when he retires from that job he will be at home with us all the time. If there was a problem that they needed me to moveout or need to do more things around the house i would.
