Partly!

If a n00b steals my phone and they turn it on they will see the message and be all "omg wtf bbq!?!" but by that time I'd have realised it's been nicked and already sent an SMS to WheresMyDroid hidden in the phone so the moment they turn it on the SMS will come through, the phone will turn on PGS and email me back a link to where it is

Handcent and the stock SMS app are pattern locked out so there'd be no way for the thief to see the message anyway.

Once I'm near I'd send the "ring" sms to WheresMyDroid so the phone would ring at max volume so I could hear where it is.

I would then proceed to smash my keyboard over the thief!

it's my own modified framework, i change the .xml's and .png's so everything is exactly how i want it

Does no one think them typography clocks and dates are bit played out now? They make it harder to read in most situations imo. Just a bit bored of seeing them now

What's the best program to use to make a full backup of my phone in case it all goes fubar?

I've read about doing 'nandroid' backups, is that the one people would recommend?
