At 39 now she might not have any choice on kids. Her fertility will be dropping off rapidly.

Anyway the age thing is no problem. My wife is 9 years older than me and the kid thing wasn't an issue because I inherited one when I started dating her.

He's great, she's great. I got myself a family without going through the nappy changing no sleep no sex phase. Win.
 
I wouldn't see it as a problem OP, if your happy forget about it, doesn't matter. Most of my past (and current, hi hun! :)) relationships have been with women who are a few years older than me. Not really a consideration when I was single and if from some unforeseen reason I was again, age wouldn't be a concern (within reason ofc, 30+ year difference, hmm).
 
Thread is semi-relevant as one of my 26.5 year old male friends recently nailed a just turned 17 year old last night.

In all fairness to him she's been on the stalk for a while now and wanted his pole. He's held out months before giving in.

Fair play tbh.

OP; she will outlive you anyway, 5 years is really not a lot considering you are both way beyond your prime and "past it" as people are concerned :P

Hey much like you i dated older women around 2-5 yrs older than me but after meeting my fiancee last yr...whos 28 and a good 10 yrs younger than me...i cant say im anymore interested in older women...younger women are where its at;).

But seriously dont sweat it ie the age gap, if you both get on real well then go for it...if you dont you will always be sat asking the question...why didnt i take the chance etc.

Well, it was good fun having an older woman when I was younger; now I'm getting older, a younger woman is more my cup of tea :)
 
Just interested to know if theres anyone on here who has an interest for the older ladies and has had a lot of success?
I have no trouble meeting them, it's just going from there really. I fail a lot.
I found a real stunner not long ago who was interested and she was about 31-32. Only thing that put me off was the fact that I found out she was into swinging big time. She had a sexy welsh accent though.
I just could'nt go through with that though, not knowing how many men/women she had been with. It didn't feel right and it put me off knowing how much baby gravy and various other liquids she's had in/on her.
She was into a lot of weird stuff too. Bit scary really.

She sounds quite exciting, I may have given a similar girl a try if I wasn't already in a relationship!

But I treat my 'Older' Girlfriend like any other Girlfriend, take her places, chat to her.

If you get on then Age isn't a problem at all.

Yeah I was tempted but just worried at the thought of catching something nasty. Shame really as she really was a stunner. I asked her why she was interested in me and she just said she thought I was sweet. I was kind of pleased with myself for getting her attention considering I look like a cousin of Wayne Rooney.
 
All my serious relantionships have been with older women, its not any preference, its just how its worked out.
The is exactly a 4 year gap between me and my wife, 34-38, its not something thats ever come up.
My first wife was 8 years older than me, the woman I went with when we split up was 7 years older than me, its never been an issue.

If you have any concerns, best not to jump into anything sudden - and well done for getting her attention - you must have done something right.

It took me some effort to get my Girlfriend, but it's well worth it in the end :)
