Reinstall Facebook but upgrade to the Pro version (it's free anyhow) when installing. Go to file settings and click the button that says 'Delete Loads'. Easy as that.

Just echoing the above really. The pro version allows you to select how you want to delete your contacts, so it's easy to delete contacts that you don't interact with.
