My Desire on Orange is failing the new update. Says there's only 15MB of storage on the SD when it requires 25MB. Have deleted all mp3s, pics and vids, yet still the same error appears. Is there a recycle bin I should be emptying? Damn thing will be meeting my bedroom wall in a minute.
 
Phone storage space is 15.83MB. Please reserve at least 25MB. Nt enough free memory on the phone. Please remove unused applications and files and try again.

Dolphin Browser takes 46MB
Touchdown 10MB
Maps 8MB
etc
 
Yeah you need to uninstall some more apps. Unless you're rooted in which case clearing the caches in recovery may help too.
 
what do people use to backup sms's?

ive just tried n2manager sms backup thing, its done the backup but i cant seem to find it on my sd card to copy to pc? Astrofilemanager can see it which is the odd thing, ive enabled view all files and folders and system files etc on my pc too
 
My Backup Pro backs up SMS, SMS Backup syncs them with Gmail in a label.

You can get more space via N1Table :)
 
Ah, well the alpharev site you got S-Off HBOOT flasher from, there are partition tables (img files) that you flash via fastboot. Depending on your ROM support install teh correct one for more internal space.

gotcha thats what i was asking about a couple of pages ago but think you said I couldnt then flash radios via recovery so i decided not to bother.....

I've been using the last radio for the last couple of hours, and the wifi seems to be more stable now.

Also, I'm not getting crashes with the rom like I was before, could be a coincidence though :)

Initially obvious things that oxygen needs; Notification power controls, and improved camera.

You can but if you use Data++ (for an additional 50MB) you need to flash radios via Fastboot. You should flash radios from fastboot anyway though.

I'm using N1Table, not Data++. I have 103MB free right now with the apps installed in my sig.

so whats the benefit if ive got a sd-ext setup, ive got about 40 apps installed and have 121mb free?
