phone is booting fine, feels more snappier

one odd thing now. I try to boot to recovery and im stuck on joker screen ?

do i need a custom recovery ?

Unrevoked will have put clockwork on, volumedown+power then select recovery?

don't worry i sorted it. i had to flash using fastboot and custom recovering img.

i didnt use unrevoked i have been rooted since launch my hboot was 0.75 originally.

anyway everything is working perfect now and the altered partitions seems to be noticeable for me.

only thing let for me to check out is the amon-ra recovery that i have heard everyone go on about

Flash AmonRA v2.0.0 from fastboot the same way you did clockwork. It's the better recovery of the two!

So, after listening to everyone wax lyrical about Oxygen, I decided to give it one more chance last night, completely wiped everything, stuck the N1 table on, reformatted my SD card and installed.

After finally getting past the random hot reboots I was getting random f/c's on various apps and battery life still nowhere near as good as Auraxt.

Have to say I agree that battery life isn't that great and looking at XDA some people are having similar wifi issues too. Might have to consider a swap until this is sorted? Shame cause I'm loving it other than these two (rather important!) issues.

I noticed the wifi bug last night when the wifi disconnected but I was able to reconnect immediately and signal was fine too unlike other people reporting poor signal hence the disconnect.

I'm awaiting 1.0.4 tonight after which point I will probably just keep it because it's such a quick ROM anyway - Tempted to give Cyanogen 6.1.1 a roll too!

Or possibly DarkDroid which looks equally impressive with way more features and reports of excellent battery life.

I have excellent signal throughout my house (small house! lol) but what I get is it shows as connected but suddenly data stops flowing. Web sites stop loading, Market falls down (It is relying heavily on net connection to function), images don't load in emails etc... Then after a while it starts working again. Under the stock ROM I had zero wifi issues.

I tried Cyanogen a week ago. The apps2sd is done by giving you an option in the cyanogen options menu. You can choose auto, internal, or external. I had it set to external yet still managed to fill up the internal space

Not really many others. After Oxygen, every other ROM feels slightly laggy in comparison. LeeDroid is the best and smoothest Sense ROM and I'd go back to that but then I'm back at square one with Oxygen being smoother and lag free in use :p

I've flashed a previous vorkkernel version now to test the wifi issue. Will report back tonight.

Hmmm, if that was fixed then i'd give it a go.

I want a non-Sense ROM, loving the extra RAM not running Sense and I think stock Android looks a million times better. Looking forward to your report. Is it easy to do if it works out positive?

I find baadnwz to be smoother than LeeDroid, and it's Sense HD.

Not heard of baadnwz until now o.0 Although I ended up quitting away from HD ROMs after seeing how much extra bulk it has over normal Sense.

It's as simple as downloading the zip, flashing from recovery, probably because it is exactly that :D
