I ordered around 3pm and DPD arrived at 0830!

Even allowing for the fact it is only 60 miles from Stoke to here, that's still mighty impressive on Christmas Eve!

arrgghh i want it!!!....but the missues will hurt me... how much better than a 280gtx is this, what can i expect in terms of a performance gain?

I run most things comfortably at 1600 x 1050, but thinking of a 24" screen next year - so is this worth the impending pain if i order now?

Does anyone do PC insurance I'm not risking putting this card anywhere near my extravalue Colorsit PSU without some form of cover.

Guess I'll have to do some matched betting over the next week to pay for a decent one.

J.D are you going to look into getting a 2nd hand Q6600 or something? With your current CPU you might not see much improvement with the 5850 over your current 4870...
