2011 car plans....

I'm still trying to avoid test driving the new B5.

Head says it's not different enough to the E60 to justify the price...

Lead us not into temptation...

Looking at replacing one of my Q7s. I'll be looking closely at the new S8 when it's available. 620BHP, 4WD and super-comfort sounds very appealing.

**** Me!

I'm looking forward to the chance of a 620BHP TRUCK in the spring, which even @ 44t, is complete overkill!

Appealing? - I'd say! :D:cool:

My aim for the car is to perfect the brakes, which I imagine will be perfecting as much as I can before spending silly money.

Other than that it's more track days and yet more tyres!

I'm toying with the idea of changing, but I don't know what to without losing performance or fuel economy.

I'm wondering if I should just shout "SOD IT" and chop in for a Focus ST. Sure, 25K in an ST will be wallet-raping, but I want one soooo badly. :(

After having my driving license for 4 years, I'm looking forward to hopefully buying my first car sometime this year :D Really depends on the location + job situation though :(

Other than that, I'll be browsing the motors section, as usual to see what nice pieces of kit people have bought, and failbuys! :D

General upkeep of the Mk1 Golf.

Get the paintwork sorted before rust develops, rebuild the gearbox.

Mates think crazy spending so much money on such an old car but hey, someone has to!

Hopefully, with a ton of hard work and some luck, I could have this by December

Sell my current car in March / April then by one of the following:

- 2001 - 2003 C5 Corvette
- 2004 - 2006 Audi S4
- 2000 - 2002 911
- 2001 - 2003 Boxster S

Or whatever else takes my fancy around the time.

Potentially buy a new run around as my 306 DTurbo has seen better days. Probably with another 306DTurbo, but then the cost of replacing the current one would most likely be a lot more than fixing the current.. decisions!

Evo cost me nothing this year except for insurance, servicing and fuel.

Downside is that front tyres will probably need doing in Q1, brakes are coming up for renewal and the clutch release bearing is getting noisy............

Any change goes towards either a Rod Job or a wedding............ but which? :D
