****Official Fallout New Vegas Thread****

What's the game like? I loved Fallout 3 and I had all the expansions, never fully completed it but really enjoyed it, I've seen New Vegas for £14 which I'm interested in getting and just wondering what it's like (PS3)

If you like Fallout 3 it's basically more of the same. It feels like an expansion pack, but obviously with more content.

I Wouldn't say it's full of bugs, I haven't noticed any big ones yet, the only issues I have are the occasional stutters and the odd crash or two, although I was about 20 hours in before my game actually crashed and I had to reset the PS3. Apart from that I haven't had any problems.

Hmm might seem worth buying then as it's £14 :D

I kind of wish that there was an online mode like in Borderlands so you could invite players to your game and do missions together. The game would have to be even bigger then (and obviously less buggy) but it would be cool I think :)

Agreed.

You cant get it for under £20 at the moment (I paid that much).... At those price this game should be purchased without a second thought!

Nice idea but I was gonna say, they can't even manage to make the single player trouble free, I think their brains would explode at the thought of having to do a multiplayer mode. :p
 
I too would love a sort of co op mode... Sadly I have to agree with KS. I highly doubt it would work.

The game is just too complicated!

im thinking about getting this now that the price has dropped , but before i do i would like to know if they have released a update which has ironed out any of the bugs that were causing problems like freezing on the ps3?

Nearly 29 hours in and only twice that I had to reset my ps3 (if I remember correctly anyway), a number of pauses / stutters when walking along but not enough to bother me as yet.
