I thought you went to bed 20 mins ago?
Doesn't your IPHONE work in your bed? haters gonna hate indeed.
Are you coming? Or just here to comment?![]()

Stick me down as a maybe, because if I say yes then it reduces my chance of actually turning up. I've never been to a rolling road day, so should probably make an effort![]()

Would love to come but it'll cost me £120 in fuel alone and I'm planning a trackday the weekend before so my finances just won't stretch to both![]()
'99 Impreza, I just can't drive at a constant 70mph on the motorway no matter how hard I try I always end up doing 90mph. That means around 20mpg and add on the fuel I'd use having a 'spirited' drive after the RR (probably getting 12 -15mpg if I'm lucky) and I'll easily spend £120 on fuel. Perhaps 300 miles rather than 250 for £120 but it's still pretty horrific.£120 to do ~250 miles...what do you drive to achieve such awesome mpg?

In all fairness your car will do a lot better economy than an Impreza. Much more efficient engine and not 4WD. You will easily get better economy.
£120 is a touch extreme though. I was thinking more along the lines of £80 for my similar journey.
I'm guessing a combination of having that and sticking to 70mph would result in fairly reasonable economy. Of course I could just stop being a **** and stick to 70mph on the motorway
Out of interest how much are you paying for SUL in brum? I have to use Texaco SUL here and it's currently £1.39 a litre
