Ati 11.1a Hotfix coming today

You can set it to off and run extreme in Heaven, the result is you run with no tessellation what so ever and in doing so fake the scores it gives.

because heaven will say that it was enabled ? as per heaven settings

well ive just gone from

FPS:105.0
Scores:2645
Min FPS:65.8
Max FPS:271.7

to

FPS:107.1
Scores:2698
Min FPS:68.4
Max FPS:272.1

that was with AMD optimised tessilation, is that the correct way or do i set it to application controlled ?

i was kind of hoping the xfire enabled logo i use when in game would have changed to AMD as apose to ATI

Depends if you want. For best benchmark scores set it off but then it removes the point of the benchmark.

Now i have even more control over my Graphics

if i wana use max tessilation i can, if i want it off but cant turn it off in game then i can..

For gaming yes, but people will abuse it like I did with benchmark scores.

Getting driver freezing and BSOD on those ones, they also failed to show info from my 2nd card. Did however give a slightly higher 3dmark11 score but less then others have claimed.

Are these the real leaked ones or the mobile ones leaked earlier with a modified inf file to run on desktops?

CCC2 has no temp, activity, fan speed or core/mem frequencies for the slave card. Also lacks manual fan speed control, with 10.12a it would allow it for about 10 seconds then go back to auto.

BSOD happened while loading L4D2 (after restart it was fine) and with the Chrome browser and two tabs open (facebook and wiktionary).

Drivers froze and reset, think that was just using the browser aswell but can't remember what exactly.


Their leaked beta's so I don't care about the BSOD and drivers freezing, just hope the 11.1's CCC2 will finally let me know whats happening with the 2nd card like GPU-Z can but with better support obviously.
