*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

Oxygen seems great and all . But complete lack of proper Facebook integration, that stupid 3d gallery and 0.1 USB transfer speeds - unfortuanatly mean it's back to leedroid for me.

They are trying to fix the rubbish USB Mass Storage speeds, so hold off on that one. Gallery wise, get the standard one from here:

:)

You are joking right? The kernels that have been released in the last week or so have completely messed up USB Mass Storage speeds. I barely get faster than 800kb/s when before it used to be at least 2.5mb/s. The ASOP kernels have never been as fast as the Sense ones, but you don't get the speeds you mention.

No, I have and still do get Decent transfer rates on Adam G's ROMs and also DeFrost, for several versions at least.

Edit*

Just tried writing a file in Oxygen via USB and yes sorry I see what you mean, writing to it is the issue, I've always been taking files off it via USB and writing to it over wifi hence the confusion!

Regarding the USB issue, I am now using an application called FTPServer to so I can connect to my phone via FTP and transfer files from the PC. I was getting speeds of around 2.5mb/s but obviously that is dependant on your wireless network :)

In some ways it is far easier than connecting my phone via USB cable.

Khaaan!, do you do something similar or do you use ES File Explorer to copy and paste from a network share?

I've always used SwiFTP via wifi for transferring files. Find it much easier (and quicker). You can get into the internal storage with it as well.

I tried that as well this morning and it was giving me issues browsing the folders. It kept giving me CHROOT (I think that's what it said) errors and refused to open folders. FTPServer worked fine first time :)

i have not noticed and hardly use the usb transfer, i have a 16gb and email pictures to my gmail account if i want them, and the music i have crammed on the sd card is pretty much my greatest hits bands so hardly update it.

Yes I use SwiFTP without issues. I use ES File Explorer to browse my LAN at home and also upload/download files from my website directories and transfer between LAN/FTP/LOCAL within the app too.

Posted this on xda, you guys might be quicker to give me an answer though; installed RC7 over RC6 (last time I wiped was about RC4 actually) and want to now change the widgets in the pull down. However, it FCs the Oxygen Settings app - can you think of a way to sort this, or should I just wipe everything?

EDIT: Cleared cache and dalvik-cache, endured another FC to untick everything and it's now working fine... Except I've got three already in there when nothing ticked, so they must be stored in user data somewhere. Hmm.

Anyone else using Launcher Pro with RC7 seeing the app drawer mess up when rotating into landscape mode? It looks like all the icons are on top of each other in the top left corner, fixes itself when you touch the screen.

Do you have "3D Drawer" on? I can't scroll at all with it turned on, probably to do with the graphics libs not being in the ROM, at least not fully functioning ones afaik.
