One for the airplane nerds - A380 360-deg photos. Check it!

Wow :) I honeslty can't imagine what pressure the pilots must be under in say a harsh landing, especially with so many passengers, such a big plane and so much information!

About the Airbus A380 that suffered an uncontained engine failure after take-off from Singapore Nov.4:

The ATSB report also showed that the A380 lost 17 critical control systems and the five pilots onboard, with a combined experience of 72,000 hours, took just under an hour to deal with 54 error messages after debris from the Rolls-Royce Trent 972 engine ripped through the wing.

WTF, I will never fly on one of those... the econamy will cost a bomb

It doesn't cost any extra to fly on them although they're mainly for longhaul routes so you would be paying a lot anyways

I thought I might get to go on one on my last trip to Nz/Aus but it didn't happen :(

And?

No one said they hadn't, the 360 degree pictures are still interesting to look at, especially if you've not had the pleasure of flying on an A380

Aimed at the comments, not the OP. Its a cool demo, i agree. The exclamations were what confused me seeing as these have been flying for what seems like ages now.

Maybe i fly too much, or am too much of a plane nerd to understand the excitement.

Yeah I got to fly on an Emirates A380 from Heathrow to Dubai, it really is an insanely large plane. I was only in cattle class mind :(

I would suspect the vast majority of posters haven't seen the inside of any A380 bar a few plain old photos from the odd press release, a 360 degree panoramic view of every seat class and the cockpit isn't something you often get the chance to see with things like this.
