Posh Haircuts - Tip the hair washer / head massager?

The best barber I ever went to had a redhead MILF who talked to me about computer games while cutting my hair.

Can't do much better than that.
 
In the interests of being helpful, I pay about £40 each time and don't tip, I don't know anybody who does there and they've never seemed offended by the lack. Personally I'm not a fan of the short haired indentikit chav look so I prefer to leave a little length in my hair and get it cut decently, lasts a couple of months too. It's £40, that's less than 10% of what I spent on eating out this month for instance, I don't consider it a big expense in the scheme of things.
 
I get posh hair cuts to, dont see anything wrong with it. rather that over a bloody bowl cut any day of the week!

Never tip the head washer
Tip the fit bired that cuts ya hair - smash it.

I live (nearly) in London, I like good food and a three course meal for two with a good value (£30) bottle of wine is going to give not much change from £100 - it's fairly normal we eat out once a week or so, after work on friday if it's been a long week or maybe after a day out somewhere on saturday. I don't go out on and get massively drunk and spend £50 a round in clubs anymore so it kinda works out for me.

Plenty people here spend £300+ on new PC hardware every six months, their choice, they enjoy the results, I choose to spend it doing I enjoy. Difference?

Equally it's probably about the same percentage of a monthly food shop or travel to work.

You and I are in the same hair boat. I hate the short look as well, which is why I prefer to pay more and get someone who really knows what they are doing to cut it.

Until I recently started going for a no1 all over due to hair thinning on top I used to go to a barbers on fleet street. Even that was just under £15 or so despite said barbers being located right next to the workplaces of some of the highest paid people in the country.

Leave the Tony & Guy nonsense to essex boys who can barely afford the repayments on the BMW they run while still living with their parents.
 
The place I get mine done is £18.50 but they do a pretty good job. The gf was getting annoyed at me coming out of other places looking like a tool so I had to stop the cheapo cuts.

Anyway, I give her a £20 and tell her to keep the change. Class act, me.
