I do have a few stupid apps, like American Dad soundboard and a few others, but they are really funny on the occasion I use them :O

Also I am a few problems with rc7. Sometimes my launcher goes back to the standard android launcher! Then when it goes back to launcher pro all my Widgets disappear

Any help?

Hello!

Well for a wee change i have decided to pap Oxygen 2.0 rc7 on my phone...!

Can anyone tell me things that need to be done? Or just should be done for greatness?

All this S-on/S-off, n1tables, etc has me confused!

(oh i am set up for flashing etc already, running leedroid at the moment)

s-off - you can change the boot tables really.
boot tables - basically like partitions. some give more space for system, some for data.

n1 table gives more room for data than normal, the oxygen one iirc, gives 300+ for your data, but about 90meg for your system. basically, no sense roms on that

i did not bother and have loads of room, it depends on how many apps you have and how many you can move to SD which is about 90% now

Been using apps2sd anyway... with a 512mb ex3/ex4 (cant remember which). Im not too big on apps really, i HATE things being too cluttered, so i guess i need not bother with it all!

Got Oxygen on btw, seems nice enough! Last time i tried a non-sense rom i hated it, but i think i might let myself adapt this time.

Just had an auto update fail on my desire and wipe all my messages. This is becoming annoying its a stock unlocked desire. Sooner I get rid of this the better.

There have been no new test builds, don't think any more are due now, N1 OTA soon!

OK cool, he did mention on XDA that no more rc's would come out but tests would continue to be built.

What nonsense its done several updates without issue and then wipes the messages and fails on this one. I shouldnt have to plug it into my pc and backup everything when its OTA update should I. Reliable or not I always back stuff up I need whenever performing updates of any sort on any device.

Obviously I will going forth back everything up from now. Seems pointless offering ota updates when I need to back up to a pc anyway but who am I to question it.

Stuff happens. I've lost data doing regular processes in the past and i've learnt that you can never have too many backups!
