*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

I recently rooted and installed the Leedriod rom with A2SD+ on it, one thing ive been told is to move the widgets to the phones internal memory, i was just wondering how do i do this?

HELP!!!!!

I knew this would happen, lol.

OK start the process of rooting and flashing my phone, i completed the rooting and had completed a back-up but when tried to reboot it get's stuck in a loop It's worth saying that the phone had just today come back from HTC for this very problem randomly switching off and then getting stuck in a loop.

So can someone please confirm that just root would not cause this?

And any suggestion on a fix? or is it back to HTC but with me rooting it cause problems getting it fixed or replaced?

Thanks..... HELP!!!

What ROM did you flash?

You might not be able to update google voice as it's in the /system partition and not data perhaps.

I'm installing CM7 Nightly in a bit, I notice a CM7 hboot is out now too :D

Hi,

I flashed the MoDaCo r9 with A2SD ROM and that was the one that wouldn't let me update the Google apps.

But i have now flashed the DeFroST 6.1a FRG83 + CyanogenMod Full Rom with a radio update as well. and this is working fine and like the look of it to, i'm now going to play around with some widgets :-)

Thanks

James

How are you finding calls with that? I had terrible echo, or I should say whoever I called got terrible echo. Regardless of the RADIO image.

Cant answer that, if you read the rest of my post

Man CM7 #38 is so good. SO GOOD.

Back to CM full time for me. The wealth of additional features over Oxygen is amazing. So many neat features especially the keyboard and lockscreen tweaks.

Oh yeah, with CM7 HBOOT = 303MB internal memory for apps :)

Well that is my evening sorted then! I am on the stock HBOOT (well AlphaRev) so I should be good to download the ROM, clear everything in AmonRA and flash (ROM and gapps)?

Yep, boot first then reboot into recovery and install gapps zip.

Be sure to install the HBOOT before all that though, I used the Android Flasher as I am at work with no SDK to hand, flasher worked fine.
