Marvel Vs Capcom 3

Mine arrive too. Helpfully I've lent my PS3 (which I've ordered it on to a friend so will have to get it back later on today :p

More importantly, got my free comic with it! :p

Hold on a moment, I just want to fetch a bowl to catch those yummy yummy tears! :P :D

Oh a serious note for a moment, the DLC characters will apparently cost 5 dollars(!) each and will be released in march... So basically 10 for Jill and Shuma... I'm guessing about £3?

400 mspoints, regardless of region.

A huge ripof considering it's all on the disc already.

Apparently, it's not.

SRK confirmed after data mining that there's parts missing from Jill (mostly audio) as well as issues with some of her moveset. They didn't mention Shuma.

I've bought it on the PS3, so it'll obviously be "cash" rather than points, hence why I mentioned about 3 pounds. :p

BTW, I'm not defending capcom... I feel that it should be that price for both at max, not just for 1.

My copy is here! Although I've got some work to do so trying to be good and leave it alone for a couple of hours.

The comic looked epic when I unpacked it, but the actual comic is only 11 pages of that book :(

mine was sent today so with a bit of luck ill have it in the morning :)
i have to help a friend dispose of some green stuff tomorrow too so that should make playing it even better

I wonder how many generic Dante, Deadpool and Wesker teams we will see online.

From what I've seen, Wesker isn't hugely popular.

Especially when everyone will just play sent anyway. He (it) seems far far far too good at the moment. The most life, and in Xfactor mode the damage is insane.

I've a feeling though that we'll see a load of Ryu / Akuma's and Wolverines, as they're the "faces" of Capcom and Marvel.

TBH though, I am not convinced they balanced the game that well... there seems to be too many 100 percent life combos surfacing already.

Got my copy today, just nipped home to have a quick blast on my lunch hour! Seems awesome from the 15 mins I've spent with it so far. Default control method seems a little awkward though, think i'll be changing that tonight.

Whats everybody elses opinions of it so far? Add me on live if you fancy a fight!

In X-Factor every single character can do a Touch of Death combo.

My team is Wolverine, Storm/Zero/Dante and Sentinel.

Wolverine for the 500K no meter hit confirm combo's from a low, 50/50 mixups, unblockables and meter building, middle member for zoning/meter burning for damage, and Sent for the the assist and comeback factor.

Tempted to try taskmaster as my middle member for his mental unblockable and all round performance.

Yeah, but his damage with chip (especially drones) is silly with xfactor.

Also, his regular hits just do too much for regular combos. It's a shame, as a character design I've liked him ever since COTA, but he's just been so good I feel dirty using him :p (though it's weird, as I hate sentinels in the comics...)

How do his regular hits do too much for regular combo's? A load of other characters have 500k+ combo's from light normals with no meter.

He is a very strong character, but a far cry from overpowered imo. It's not like he's anywhere near Sentinel from MvC2!

Hmm. I've only seen a few videos of him, but he does seem to be a bit weaker... but still, from what I've read, he's still the best.

Then again, I suppose it's to early to really make judgements on that yet.

The only thing I don't like about MVC3 is that the HP goes down too fast on normal life settings... it's insane.
