It certainly was if it isn't now. Any threads about delivery, service and anything critical of the business are closed or they disappear rather quickly. This forum certainly WAS supposed to be separate from the shop (that was the official line), even if that's not the case any more.

Wow people get paid on different days, they have done one of the most common last Friday of the month. Get over yourself.
They coincide with my pay day about once a year, silly 4 weekly pay.

It's not Monday exactly, they get paid last working day of the month, which just happens to be Monday.

I just buy what I need when I need it anyway. Living month to month is not something I have to worry about anymore.:)
 
Mine happens to be the first Monday at the end of the month and if the last day of the month is a Monday, like this month, then I get paid then.

I am not fussed, would have only saved a few quid, oh and free shipping :(

I am not fussed. But I laugh at the saying of payday savings when quite clearly, a lot of people get paid the last working day which is Monday and no one in marketing/sales thought of that? Bad show.

About my sig... No idea what's going on there. Haven't been on live for a while...

I appreciate your point. But it would appear that they cannot win. If they did it next week, then they'd get a whole load of complaints from people saying 'omg, I've already spent all my payday monies!!'

End of the day, they're putting on some great deals for the weekend. They are a business, they operate to make money, and not to base their business on convenience for a small number of people :)

EDIT: If you REALLY want a 460, it's on This Week Only ;)

I get paid the 28th of each month, which this month is the monday, although having our servers moved overseas this month it stuffed up the payment and we ended up having to do a one-day payment today. So result for me!
 
I've always been paid last Friday of every month. Or weekly on Fridays. Most people who work in retail do also; as far as the people i know.

Thanks for the deals Gibbo. I'd like a few around the 30-50 price point. Can just splash out and not feel the pain then :)
