Yes just been looking at the geometry, prefer the Nomad so far, not intending on getting rid of my forks, there to good to change.

I would have to see what i could get for my frame, but i could keep my 4 way coil for the new frame for starters.

The Tracer 2 is in between the Blur LT and the Nomad. Nomad takes up to 180mm forks and the Tracer2 160mm forks. Slightly different geometry too.

Both need coil shocks. Well the Nomad does anyway, I havent ridden the Tracer2...yet. :D

Yip... My Blur XCc is much stiffer than the Heckler.:cool:

Mine has 170mm forks :p But ignoring that the stiffness and strength of the Tracer 2 easily puts it in Nomad territory. Also don't know many people who even run a 180mm on a Nomad.

When compared to the alu version I don't like it especially around the junction of the up/down tubes with the head tube just looks awful.

What this thread is in need of is some fresh bike pin ups :D

Needed to be quoted tbh! and needs more colour - I've changed my mind (like the wind) and like it :D

From Sundays race - bitterly disappointed about the mechanical issues. Its not the bike, I shouldn't of changed components and not tested. My bad!

Ive got a 2010 s-works enduro which i stripped down at the weekend and found a crack on the underside of the downtube,Ive taken it to my LBS who have shipped the frame off today to spesh.

I know a few of you have spesh's on here.....Has anyone warrantied anything with them....What sort of turnaround am i looking at for a replacement frame?

My local Spesh Concept store can get a new frame and the bike built up in 2-3 days.

Well, I stripped down my Enduro today, it's just frame and forks now.

I can sort of imagine my new bike taking shape, but it's nice to demo the bits I have from time to time...

Any toughts on the Canyon bikes fellas.

Im looking at the possibility of a new HT bike and came across the Canyon Yellowstone 4.0, problem is im finding it hard to find decent reviews in english.

In my mind it seems ideal but would obviously like some feedback first.

canyons are getting very good names for build quality and spec for the price.

The Nerve XC 8.0 just won loads of high praise and bike of the year on bikeradar for the price etc. Canyon ship from Germany and you don't have anyway to test them unless you want to travel!! They do now have a UK contact centre I think.

They seem to be like the foreign equivalent of cube bikes - great value, excellent spec etc etc.

Yes the Canyon bikes are very good spec and value wise they seem to be taking off quite well over here see a lot popping up now over on bike radar.

Aren't Cube from Germany also?

A little off topic guys but I'm trying to find a good trail to ride for a couple of days with some camping/chalet's in between, is there anything you guys can recommend or where to look, ideally UK based my ability is OK I would say enthusiastic but insane! Cheers
