Possibly some of those people queing would be to simply try out the iPad not necessarily to buy and were doing some shopping anyway so didn't mind queuing, some shops don't have demo units,

That's been the big success of the apple stores imo, i remember back in the mid 90's all the computer products in shops used to be password restricted etc or no Internet etc, or covered in sticker, finger marks etc.

Not sure if had 3g in stock what happen is went in act like knew nothing about ipad and looked at a Samsung sale men came up said are you looking at a tablet type of thing and said yes he said why not have a iPad 2?? replied what is that ha ha ha showed me it and said we have couple in stock.. pretend to knew nothing ask for demo and got one...

Makes me think how many shop doing this?

Hey guys does anyone know if the smart leather covers being sold on Tesco Direct are the original Apple ones? Cause £35 for the leather ones is cheap.

Also since my kids will also be using my Ipad, a 3 year old and a 7 year old. Can anyone recommend me a case that would cover the entire unit. Something a bit portfolio like would be great.

The Tesco Direct ones are the genuine Apple ones as far as I know. Prices could be a bit off though.

I am sure many here could have bought more than if they had been bothered or could have made it to the stores before 5pm.

Seems like a lot of hassle to sell them tbh, with ebay taking the 10% cut. I know i couldnt be bothered to sell them.

p.s I cant find one anywhere to buy and i want one lol.
