Yeah, you can change anything about a club via the editor, so you could give United a **** load of money, or make Sheffield Wednesday's club reputation massive so players would want to come play for us.

I don't, I play it for fun, although it's more stressful at times. I tend to always play as United / Wednesday though. Good on this update / game Wednesday though, bit of money and a decent squad for league one haha
 
Sod that, what's the point.

Man Utd are rich enough anyway, so it's kind of easy, it keeps me entertained being able to really **** Gibson etc about :)

you dont have THAT strong a hand as its widely believed he wants to leave, and that kind of forces a sale imo (do you really want an unhappy person in your squad for another year?)

Plus he is known for not sticking around long at any one club , you will get decent money for him but I dont see it being in the £30m+ range
 
I didn't realise Reina was only 22 when Liverpool signed him, only two years old than De Gea is now

I'd take VDS giving us 1 more year over anyone though tbh

Well the owners/Mancini will want to show how strong they are with this transfer so i cannot see him leaving for a small amount.

Saying that he wants to leave etc can also change if we were to get champions league this year. He could change completely and want to play for the club
 
Jack Wilshere to Man City apparently. If we can get £90m for him and Cesc in the next few years that'll take years off how quickly we'll repay the stadium debt. Though with the take over, I have little idea what that is now..
 
Jack has already said it's rubbish. Also I believe that everything that can be paid off early on the stadium has been, anything else and we'll have to pay penalty fees so it's not worth doing. So hopefully that sees the end of being a selling club.
 
Because Mancini would not use him properly. We dont need anyone for midfield really anyways. All we need is a new winger (Sanchez likely) and probably a CAM like Pastore but Assulin has the possibility of playing there. A new CB would be nice also but only someone like Hummels otherwise it is not worth it.

I don't think Mancini is going to be there long to be honest! Have to say, not many teams would turn Wilshere down but fair enough if you don't want him, we'll keep him!

Not sure about that, but if it's an English club -> English club transfer he'll be insanely expensive. Don't really think he'd join another English club though (e.g. Man Utd/Chelsea/Man City, rest can't afford him/aren't at his level)
